York Road is on the move, and big things are happening! From major investments in public spaces to incredible community events, we’re making real progress toward a more vibrant, connected, and thriving corridor. Spring is shaping up to be one of our most exciting seasons yet, and there’s so much to look forward to!
Three visioning sessions planned for vacant lot across from Senator
The Belvedere Improvement Association is planning a series of three visioning sessions this spring to gather input for the future of the long-vacant lot on York Road known as the “old diner site.”
Veteran baker brings Bonjour Crepes to Belvedere Square
For Jamal Daftani, the secret to a great crepe–and by extension to a successful crepe business–is in the presentation.
“Crepes is not an easy business,” says Daftani, who opened Bonjour Crepes in the Belvedere Square Market last October. As with other kinds of French food, “you’ve got to pay attention to how you present things to people.”
